By accessing or using SafeSpace ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use SafeSpace.
2. What SafeSpace Is (and Is Not)
SafeSpace is an anonymous emotional support and mood-sharing platform. It provides a space for users to share feelings, reflect on moods, and support each other.
• SafeSpace is NOT a mental health provider, therapist, or medical service. It is not a substitute for professional mental health care, counseling, or therapy. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, please contact a licensed professional or call your local emergency services immediately.
3. Anonymous Usage
SafeSpace allows you to share content anonymously. Your email address is used solely for authentication and is never displayed publicly or linked to your posts. However:
- By using SafeSpace, you acknowledge that anonymity does not protect illegal activity.
- We may be required to comply with valid legal requests from law enforcement.
- Abuse of anonymity to harass, threaten, or harm others will result in account termination.
4. Prohibited Content
The following content is strictly prohibited on SafeSpace:
- Hate speech, slurs, or discriminatory language
- Threats of violence or encouragement of self-harm
- Harassment, bullying, or targeted abuse of other users
- Spam, self-promotion, or advertising
- Sharing personal information (your own or others')
- Illegal content or activity
- Sexually explicit content
We reserve the right to remove content that violates our community guidelines without prior notice.
5. AI Features Disclaimer
SafeSpace uses artificial intelligence for content moderation, mood coaching, and mood reports.
AI features are for informational and reflective purposes only, not medical advice. AI-generated responses are not a substitute for professional counseling or therapy. Always consult a qualified mental health professional for clinical guidance.
6. Limitation of Liability
SafeSpace is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to emotional distress, reliance on AI-generated content, or interactions with other users. We do our best to maintain a safe space, but we cannot guarantee the behavior of all users or the accuracy of AI systems.
7. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these terms or behavior that puts the community at risk. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from your profile settings.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of SafeSpace after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
